Solar Pv Senior Expert
Job Description
Lead and manage projects from early stages to commissioning in the Solar Power (PV) department.
Develop and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support on technical matters.
Ensure projects are executed and delivered in quality, time, and budget according to ILF's Integrated Management System (IMS).
Plan, organize, and schedule workload and resources in line with project schedules.
Collaborate with other ILF offices globally to exchange personnel and technical know-how.
Maintain client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and participating in client meetings.
Act as Project Manager for selected projects.
Support business development by providing technical inputs to proposals.
Report regularly to management on project progress and potential issues.
Application Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of the Solar Power (PV) industry, especially in Middle East markets.
Expertise in Photovoltaic Power Plants (PVPP) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Experience in commissioning PVPP and BESS, with knowledge of safety and HSSE standards.
Ability to lead and coordinate grid impact assessments and safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, PRA).
Mandatory experience in Solar Engineering firm.
Over 10 years of experience in engineering and consulting roles with a minimum 5 years in a managerial position.
Mandatory experience in Solar Engineering firm.
Familiarity with engineering and consultancy contract models, project control methods, and quality assurance.
Minimum BSc in Electrical/Energy Engineering; MSc is advantageous.
