overseeing and managing all softscape operations at project locations, making sure that turfing, planting, soil preparation, irrigation, and general horticulture upkeep are completed on schedule and to a high standard in accordance with project specifications and landscape plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily softscape activities on the property, such as mulching, planting, turf installation, soil preparation, and plant maintenance.
Interpret landscape drawings and ensure proper execution according to the design plan.
Oversee the selection, handling, and planting of trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and seasonal plants.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of plants and materials.
Inspect plant quality upon delivery and ensure health and suitability.
Supervise and guide labor teams to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
Schedule and monitor irrigation needs with coordination of the irrigation team.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments for updates and issue resolutions.
Maintain site cleanliness and proper plant care throughout the project.
Train workers on proper planting techniques and softscape care.
Ensure tools and equipment are used properly and maintained regularly.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 3 of experience in softscape supervision in the landscaping industry.
Strong plant knowledge including regional flora and seasonal varieties.
Ability to read and interpret landscape design drawings.
Experience managing labor teams and dealing with suppliers.
Valid UAE driving license preferred.
