Job Description
Installation:
Install components of the smoke management system, which can include smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems, supply and exhaust fans, and smoke control dampers.Testing and commissioning:
Test the system to ensure it functions as designed, which may involve Computer Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations and real-time smoke tests. They also commission the system to verify its performance against local and international codes.Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance to ensure the system is in proper working order. This includes inspecting all parts and performing necessary repairs.Troubleshooting:
Identify and fix issues with the system, whether they are related to the control panel, fans, or dampers.System design support:
Some roles may involve assisting with the design phase, ensuring that the system meets the specific needs of the building and adheres to safety standards.Job Type: Contract
