About the Role
The
Site Traffic Management Supervisor
is responsible for TDP implementation, day-to-day TTM supervision, coordination, monitoring, maintenance and decommisioning of all site
temporary traffic management (TTM)
diversions. The role ensures that all
approved Traffic Diversion Plans (TDPs)
are implemented safely, accurately, and in full compliance with project specifications, QWZTMG, and Egis' operational standards.
He serves as the link between the field teams and the Traffic Engineer, ensuring that all traffic control devices, signages, and barriers are properly deployed and maintained as required. The position also oversees on-site safety, assists in incident response, and ensures that traffic flow and public safety are maintained at all times during planned roadworks or emergency operations.
Traffic Diversion Implementation
Supervise the implementation, modification, and decommissioning of
temporary traffic diversion layouts
as per approved TDPs.
Ensure all traffic control devices, signages, cones, barriers, and delineators are placed in accordance with Qatar Work Zone Traffic Management standards.
Verify that diversion routes are properly maintained, safe, and free of obstructions always.
On-Site Supervision & Coordination
Works as a key team member in the incident response team for safe TTM implementation.
Direct and coordinate site traffic management crews, ensuring clear communication of daily tasks and safety requirements.
Conduct pre-deployment checks to confirm readiness of materials, vehicles, and equipment.
Coordinate with
patrolling
teams
for prompt action during emergencies or road closures.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce strict adherence to
HSE procedures
and
traffic safety standards
on all worksites.
Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, or deviations from approved plans.
Report safety violations or near-miss incidents immediately to the Traffic Engineer or HSE team.
Monitoring & Reporting
Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities, including setup times, crew attendance, materials used, and incidents observed.
Report any changes, deficiencies, or damaged traffic control equipment to the Traffic Engineer for corrective action.
Support the reporting of defects and incidents through the
Maximo
digital system.
Incident & Emergency Response
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, assisting in road closures, diversions, and traffic redirection as directed.
Ensure rapid and safe clearance of temporary works following an incident or upon completion of maintenance.
Public & Stakeholder Interface
Maintain professional communication with on-site stakeholders, including contractors, police, and the general public when necessary.
Ensure minimal disruption to road users and provide assistance to motorists when safe to do so.

Valid Qatar driver's license is required.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of
3-5 years of experience
