Job Description

The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of the fit-out construction process, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes supervising contractors, coordinating the daily site activities, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of interior fit-out works, health and safety protocols, and effective project management practices.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management

:

Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and in accordance with the project schedule. Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers. Monitor the quality of work to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications. Organize the site setup and ensure proper storage of materials and tools.

Health and Safety Compliance

:

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify any potential hazards. Implement and enforce safe working practices among all site personnel. Ensure that all workers have the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and are properly trained.

Project Coordination

:

Liaise with the Project Manager to track progress and update on any issues that arise. Coordinate material deliveries, ensuring that they are on time and stored correctly. Assist in resolving any onsite issues, including scheduling conflicts, delays, or quality concerns. Ensure that work is completed according to the project's drawings and specifications.

Project Documentation

: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including manpower, materials, and equipment used. Keep track of the site's progress and report to the Project Manager regularly. Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and compliance documentation are completed and up to date. Prepare and submit reports related to site progress, safety, and issues encountered.
