Job Description

The Site Supervisor - Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical, firefighting, or other villa-specific systems) during construction or renovation of villas. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, project timelines, and quality workmanship while coordinating with contractors, technicians, and clients.
Key Responsibilities * Mechanical Systems Supervision:

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, etc.) in villas.
• Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
• Team Coordination:

• Lead and monitor on-site mechanics, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Assign tasks, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Quality & Safety Compliance:

• Conduct inspections to verify work quality and compliance with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, local codes).
• Report defects or deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical system malfunctions in existing villas.
• Schedule preventive maintenance for equipment like pumps, generators, or AC units.
• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain logs of daily activities, equipment status, and manpower.
• Prepare progress reports for project managers and clients.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with villa owners, engineers, and suppliers to address technical queries.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering work as per requirements.
• Resource Management:

• Monitor inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.
• Coordinate procurement to avoid project delays.

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems (e.g., EPA, NATE) are a plus.

• 3+ years in mechanical supervision, preferably in villa/residential projects.
• Hands-on experience with villa-specific systems (e.g., solar water heaters, sewage pumps).

• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
