We are seeking a proactive Site Supervisor with 10-14 years of hands-on experience in supervising joinery and interior designing works at site. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality, timely, and safe execution of works.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of carpenters, helpers, technicians, and subcontractors at the site.
Allocate and monitor daily work tasks based on project schedule, scope, and client specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, joinery drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents to guide execution.
Ensure proper installation of doors, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall cladding, and other joinery elements.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Clients for site instructions and progress updates.
Maintain quality control standards by conducting regular inspections during and after installation.
Identify and resolve on-site issues related to material, manpower, or coordination without delays.
Ensure site activities are carried out in compliance with HSE standards and authority regulations (e.g., DCD, DDA, Dubai Municipality).
Monitor material availability, stock usage, and coordinate with store or procurement teams.
Maintain accurate records of daily progress, workforce attendance, and snag lists.
Support handover activities, including mock-up approvals, punch list clearance, and final inspections.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
10-14 years of proven experience in joinery and interior designing site execution, especially in high-end residential or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of woodwork installation techniques, joinery materials, finishes, and hardware.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction layouts accurately.
Good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with workers, engineers, and clients.
Ability to manage multiple teams and tight project timelines.
Knowledge of health & safety practices and site safety compliance.
Basic computer literacy (Ms Office, Site reporting tools).
UAE driving license, will be an added advantage.
Education:
Diploma or ITI in Civil/Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent technical qualification.
Preferred Certifications
HSE / First Aid Awareness
Fire-Rated Door Installation Training, will be an added advantage.
DDA/DCD Site Safety Orientation Certificate, will be an added advantage.
