Senior Designer - Joinery & Interior Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative

Senior Designer

with expertise in

joinery

and

interior design

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead design projects from concept to completion, specializing in bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and high-end interior spaces. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, project managers, and craftsmen to deliver innovative and functional design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design development of high-end interior fit-outs, custom joinery, and furniture. Prepare and review detailed design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. Coordinate with production teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design intent is achieved. Conduct site visits and manage design implementation during installation phases. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and refine proposals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Stay updated on design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques in joinery and interiors. Mentor and guide junior designers and draftsmen.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Interior Design

,

Architecture

,

Industrial Design

, or a related field. Minimum

5-8 years of experience

in interior design with a strong focus on

joinery design

and

fit-out projects

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

SketchUp

,

3D Studio Max

,

V-Ray

, and

Adobe Creative Suite

. Knowledge of

Revit

is an advantage. Strong technical knowledge of materials, finishes, and production techniques for joinery and furniture. Excellent design visualization and presentation skills. Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and site coordination. Ability to manage client relationships and communicate design concepts effectively. Detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills. Experience working with luxury residential, retail, or hospitality projects is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with CNC fabrication and custom joinery manufacturing processes. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations. Strong portfolio showcasing relevant joinery and interior design projects.
