Job Summary

The Site Supervisor - Civil Works will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, supervising labor and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience in civil construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines. Manage labor, materials, and equipment on site. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure work is executed according to plans. Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Maintain daily site reports, logs, and records of activities and resources. Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts and escalate when necessary. Conduct quality checks and ensure construction standards are maintained. Assist in planning and scheduling of work based on project requirements. Ensure that tools and materials are used efficiently and that there is no wastage.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred). 5+ years of site supervision experience in civil construction projects. Strong understanding of civil construction processes, drawings, and materials. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites. Basic proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction documentation.

Preferred Experience:

Experience supervising infrastructure, residential, commercial, or road works. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of local building codes and site compliance requirements.
