Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Supervisor - Aluminum and Facade
to oversee the on-site execution of facade and aluminum system installations. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in facade construction, proven site leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. This role is key to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Supervision
Lead and supervise the installation of aluminum and facade works in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to industry standards.
2. Team Leadership
Manage and direct on-site installation teams and subcontractors.
Allocate tasks effectively and maintain high team productivity.
Enforce health and safety practices and ensure use of PPE and safe work procedures.
3. Quality Control
Monitor installation work to ensure quality standards, material specifications, and design intent are met.
Report and rectify any deviations from the approved drawings or materials.
4. Coordination and Communication
Serve as the key site liaison between internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Ensure smooth coordination of daily site activities.
5. Issue Resolution
Identify site issues or bottlenecks and implement timely corrective actions.
Collaborate with the engineering or project management teams for complex resolutions.
6. Site Inspections
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, provide team guidance, and ensure project milestones are being achieved.
7. Material Handling
Oversee the ordering, delivery, and proper storage of facade materials.
Verify material quantities and ensure materials meet project specifications.
8. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of site activities, inspections, manpower, and material usage.
Submit daily and weekly progress reports to project management.
9. Safety & Compliance
Ensure all activities comply with local labor laws, site safety protocols, and project-specific safety plans.
Report and document any site incidents or violations.
10. Cost Monitoring
Assist in tracking and managing project costs to avoid budget overruns.
Optimize resource usage and minimize material waste.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aluminum and facade installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Experience with both commercial high-rise and residential projects is a plus
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of facade and aluminum systems, glass installation techniques, and anchoring systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings, fabrication details, and project plans
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with site management tools
