Quantity Surveyor with experience in civil construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost estimation, tendering, contracts, and financial control, along with excellent coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation & Planning:
Prepare budgets and forecasts; ensure project stays within cost.
Tendering & Procurement:
Prepare BOQs, evaluate bids, and advise on procurement strategies.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and manage construction contracts.
Cost Control:
Monitor expenses, manage variations, and minimize financial risks.
Valuations & Payments:
Assess completed work and recommend payment to contractors.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Compliance & Quality:
Ensure work meets legal and quality standards.
Dispute Resolution:
Handle contractual issues and support claims management.
Candidate Requirements:
Education:
B. Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Quantity Surveyor experience in UAE or GCC is mandatory
