Site Manager (Instrumentation), Qatar

1. Purpose of Request

This request is to initiate the recruitment process for a qualified

Site Manager

to support ongoing and upcoming projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role is critical to ensuring successful site execution, commissioning, and handover of instrumentation and control systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

2. Position Summary

The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all site activities related to the commissioning of pneumatic instrumentation and control systems. This includes managing site teams, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements, and reporting progress to project leadership.

3. Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise site execution and commissioning activities Ensure proper installation and testing of pneumatic instrumentation systems Oversee control system commissioning, including loop checks and functional testing Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams Maintain site safety and quality standards Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports Interface with client representatives and third-party inspectors Resolve site-level technical issues and escalate as needed

4. Required Qualifications

Minimum

10 years of experience

in the Oil & Gas industry Proven expertise in

pneumatic instrumentation commissioning

Strong background in

control system commissioning

(DCS, PLC, SCADA) Bachelor's degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field) Familiarity with international standards and commissioning procedures Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Willingness to work at remote work sites as required

5. Employment Type

Contract ; 1year and extendable as per performance Full-time
