Lead the operations for the venue responsibly and proficiently.
Align goals and milestones with the goals and milestones set by the Senior Management.
Make decisions to start or stop operation, mitigate and solve operational issues escalated by team.
Deliver operating plans, policies and procedures, risk management, headcount plan, job descriptions, training content and any other document related to the venue operations.
Coordinate with concessionaire operations (e.g. Rides, F&B, Retail, etc.) ensuring high quality operations and providing reasonable support towards their success.
Supervises and coordinates activities of all workers engaged in operating rides and venue.
Inspects ride equipment for operating condition and safety
Assigns team members their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards
Conducts periodic quality checks to ensure assigned tasks were delivered as expected. The signing authority confirming all the checks done as per the checklist.
Custodian of all the documentation and checklists. Ensures that the team is updated with all the latest developments and is following the latest version of the checklists.
Ensuring values such as Safety, Service, Standards and Sales are met
Leads the team in emergency situations and contacts concerned departments to follow up on any Incident that occurred or medical help required at the site.
Evaluate staff performance and provide training where necessary
Keep a track of Employees performance, productivity and appraisals
Prepare daily reports
Respond to last minute issues
Site Manager Requirements:
Prior 4-5 years of experience in a customer facing environment in any theme park, amusement ride or adventure sports
Fluent in English
Comfortable to work 6 days a week including weekends/holidays
Physical demand includes prolonged standing in an outdoor environment
Natural leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literacy skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable engaging with large groups of people
UAE driving license is a must.
Knowledge of health and safety protocols
Excellent time management skills
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to multitask
Use a radio and respond to commands with background noise, for the duration of shift
Work outdoors and in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting; maintain concentration/focus (e.g. ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedures)
