Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil construction activities (e.g., earthworks, concreting, drainage, roadworks, foundations).
Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
Monitor work progress and ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.
Allocate tasks to site workers and subcontractors based on project plans and skill sets.
Maintain daily site records, including labor reports, materials usage, and progress updates.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, safety officers, and suppliers for seamless site operations.
Assist in resolving on-site issues, including technical and personnel-related challenges.
Verify that materials and equipment delivered to site meet required standards and quantities.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a civil construction supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, methods, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards in civil works.
High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certification in civil engineering/construction technology is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, drainage systems, land development).
Certification in safety (e.g., OSHA, First Aid).
Proficiency in using project management or reporting tools (MS Excel, construction apps).
