Job Title: Site Engineer- Lighting and automations

Location: LSI UAE, Dubai

Department: Projects and Operations

Reports To: Project Manager / Lighting Design Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to oversee lighting installations and coordination on-site for various projects, ensuring that design intent, technical specifications, and safety standards are achieved. The ideal candidate should understand lighting systems and automation, site execution, coordination with MEP services, and the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision, coordination & Execution Supervise and inspect lighting installations on-site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Ensure proper installation of luminaires, control systems verifying aiming, focusing, and commissioning of lighting fixtures as per design intent. Coordinate lighting services with other disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, architectural, and civil works. Attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve coordination or execution issues. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for delivery, installation, and testing schedules. Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements for lighting systems. Assist in lighting control programming and integration with home automation.

Compliance & Safety:

Report and resolve non-conformities and ensure quality assurance standards are maintained.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Lighting Design / Equivalent 2-4 years of experience in lighting installation or coordination (construction, architectural, or entertainment/event sectors) Strong knowledge of lighting systems, controls, and relevant tools/software (e.g., AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, Revit MEP is a plus) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and site management skills Ability to manage time and priorities effectively under project timelines

Working Conditions:

Site-based role; may require extended hours or weekend work based on project deadlines and mock-ups. Travel to different project sites as needed.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
