Site Engineer - Fit Out Experience

Projects / Site Operations Reporting To: Project Manager / Fit-Out Supervisor Job

Purpose:

To assist in planning, executing, and supervising all interior fit-out works on-site, ensuring that the project is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor daily site fit-out works, including partitions, ceiling, flooring, joinery, painting, and MEP coordination. Ensure that all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for work progress and technical issues. Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation. Check materials, quantities, and deliveries to ensure they meet project requirements. Assist in resolving site issues and report to the Fit-Out Supervisor / Project Manager. Ensure safety procedures and regulations are followed at all times on site. Attend site meetings and update project management on work status. Conduct inspections to ensure quality and workmanship standards are maintained.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design. 2-4 years of experience in interior fit-out projects (residential, commercial, or retail). Good understanding of interior finishes, materials, and methods of construction. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project documentation.

Preferred:

Experience in UAE or GCC fit-out projects. Knowledge of local authority requirements and site safety standards.
