The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and executing
asphalt and road works
on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and local authority standards. The role requires strong technical expertise in asphalt paving operations, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and adherence to quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities
Supervise asphalt paving activities including
sub-base, base course, binder course, and wearing course
. Coordinate with asphalt plants, surveyors, QA/QC teams, and site supervisors. Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, andRTA / Municipality
standards. Monitor asphalt temperatures, laying, compaction, and joint construction. Manage site activities to meetproject schedule, quality, and HSE requirements
. Prepare daily site reports and progress records. Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities. Resolve technical site issues and provide engineering solutions. Control material quantities and minimize wastage.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering
.5-7 years
of experience inasphalt and road works
. Strong knowledge of asphalt materials, paving methods, andQA/QC procedures
. Experience working with asphalt plants and paving crews. Familiarity withRTA and local authority specifications
. Proficient inMS Office
and basic reporting.U.A.E experience preferred
