About the Role

We are hiring a skilled

Site Electrical Engineer

to oversee electrical construction works on the

North Field Expansion (NFE) EPC-3 Project

. The role involves direct supervision of

electrical installations, testing, and pre-commissioning

across Greenfield and Brownfield areas, ensuring compliance with QELNG and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation of:

Cable trays, cable pulling, and terminations

.

Grounding, lighting, UPS, MCCs, switchgear, and transformers

.

HV/LV distribution systems and substation tie-ins

. Ensure work execution is as per

IFC drawings, project specifications, method statements, and ITPs

. Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, continuity tests, insulation resistance, loop checks, and pre-commissioning. Monitor subcontractor manpower and ensure progress meets project schedule. Enforce

HSSE, PTW, and SIMOPS

procedures for live facility works. Prepare daily progress reports and highlight work-front or interface issues. Support in achieving

mechanical completion (MC), energization, and handover to commissioning

.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Electrical Engineering

. 5-10 years' EPC construction experience in Oil & Gas / LNG projects. Strong knowledge of

electrical construction standards

(IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA). Experience with both

Greenfield and Brownfield execution

is an advantage. Familiarity with

testing and pre-commissioning of electrical systems

. Excellent communication and interface management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in

Qatargas / QELNG projects

. Certification in

NEBOSH/IOSH

or equivalent HSE training. Knowledge of

Primavera P6, Navisworks, or project controls tools

. Hands-on exposure to

CompEx/IECEx environments

or hazardous area installations.
