: Role Scope Area(s) of Responsibility Key Activities Support & Management
Executes cueing of all technical and performance elements for live shows with precision
Creates and maintains accurate prompt scripts, cue sheets, and running orders for all shows
Supports Stage Management during rehearsals, contributing to show tracking and run-throughs
Monitors show flow and ensures backstage and technical teams are synchronized in real time Working with Contractors and Other Departments Communicates with lighting, sound, rigging, and multimedia operators during shows to trigger cues Assists in technical integration of new shows and supports third-party creative or production teams Participates in cue-to-cue rehearsals and works with all departments to refine show execution Financial Responsibilities Assists in identifying operational risks that may impact show equipment or consumables Supports reporting of any technical issues or incidents that may require repair or replacement Risk Management Ensures show cues are called safely, respecting acrobatic and technical safety procedures Participates in regular safety briefings and supports incident documentation where needed Helps maintain a safe working environment by identifying and reporting show-related risks Qualifications, Experience and Skills Education and Qualifications Essential: Higher Secondary or equivalent Desirable: Diploma or Degree in Performing Arts, Stage Management, Technical Theatre, or related field Formal training in show calling or live performance coordination Years of Experience Essential: Minimum of 3 years in live entertainment, theatre, acrobatic shows, or theme park productions with experience in show calling and backstage coordination Desirable: Experience in multimedia or immersive show environments Experience calling large-scale shows with multiple technical departments involved Knowledge, Languages and Skills Essential: Expert knowledge of show calling procedures and performance cueing Working understanding of technical disciplines: lighting, sound, video, rigging, automation Excellent communication and timing skills under pressure Fluent in English (written and verbal) * Proficient in preparing prompt books, cue sheets, and show documentation Desirable: Familiarity with QLab, ETC lighting systems, and show control interfaces Multilingual ability is an advantage Music or rhythm-based cueing experience beneficial for acrobatic or choreographed shows This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive; you may be required at any time to perform any other duties to meet the needs of the business.
