About the Role

Honeypot Furniture UAE is looking for a skilled and detail-driven

Shopify Plus Developer

to elevate our eCommerce experience. As we scale our online operations across the UAE and beyond, we need a developer who can build, optimise, and maintain a fast, elegant, and conversion-focused Shopify Plus store.

You'll collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to implement high-performing landing pages, streamline the shopping journey, and ensure seamless integrations with our CRM, WhatsApp, and fulfilment systems.

Key Responsibilities

Build and customise themes on the

Shopify Plus platform

, using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Create custom landing pages, product templates, and promotional modules that align with brand goals Collaborate with design and marketing teams to execute campaign-based changes and seasonal content updates Integrate third-party apps and APIs (e.g. WhatsApp, Klaviyo, Watti, ERP tools, Tabby, etc.) Optimise site performance across desktop and mobile (speed, accessibility, SEO) Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, or theme conflicts Maintain code quality, version control, and documentation Support the rollout of new features and store expansions (e.g. multi-region, Arabic language setup) Implement tracking pixels, schema markup, and CRO-focused tools where needed Ensure best practices are followed for scalability, security, and stability

Requirements

2-4+ years of experience as a Shopify Developer, including work on

Shopify Plus

Strong command of

Liquid

, Shopify's templating language Proficient in front-end development:

HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript (Vanilla/ES6+)

Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and modern UX/UI best practices Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and eCommerce UX principles Knowledge of version control tools (e.g. Git, GitHub) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, campaign-driven retail environment Bonus: Experience with Arabic language implementations and international storefronts

Nice to Have

Experience with performance tools like Google PageSpeed, Lighthouse, or GTmetrix Working knowledge of Shopify Hydrogen or headless commerce (optional but a plus) Experience integrating Shopify with CRM and automation tools (Klaviyo, Watti, Meta Pixel, etc.) Basic understanding of SEO structure and how it ties into theme development
