In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, overseeing staff performance, and maintaining the overall operational efficiency of the store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in sales and retail management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed store sales targets and KPIs.
Monitor daily sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure the store meets its sales goals.
Staff Management and Development:
Supervise, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for employee development.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction by leading by example and setting customer service standards for the team.
Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
Inventory and Stock Management:
Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, stock rotation, and stocktaking.
Work closely with the inventory team to ensure products are well stocked and properly displayed.
Reporting and Administration:
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and employee performance to senior management.
Handle administrative tasks such as employee scheduling, payroll, and store records.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other department managers to ensure a smooth flow of operations and alignment with overall company goals.
Collaborate on training programs, store events, and company-wide initiatives to promote brand consistency and customer engagement.
Brand Representation:
Represent the brand and the store with professionalism and integrity, ensuring that company values are reflected in every interaction with customers, employees, and partners.
Promote the store's image and reputation through positive interactions and community involvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, Retail Management, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in retail management or sales management, with a proven track record in sales, team leadership, and store management.
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Know how in MS Office and POS systems; experience with inventory management software is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
