We are looking for an experienced Ship Agency Officer with 3-5 years in ship agency operations. The ideal candidate will be confident in client communication, capable of managing vessel and cargo operations, and experienced in post-fixture activities, strategic planning, and coordination with port and naval authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end logistics and cargo operations across multiple locations, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and revenue growth.
Strategic logistics planning and post-fixture operations, focusing on timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Oversee vessel cargo discharge processes, reducing lead times and enhancing collaboration with port authorities, clients, and stakeholders.
Coordinate military logistics and vessel agency operations as required.
Manage terminal operations, including storage, handling, and bagging of cargo (e.g., grains), ensuring quality compliance and operational efficiency.
Train and mentor team members to enhance operational efficiency, service excellence, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
3-5 years of ship agency experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in client-facing roles.
Knowledge of vessel operations, cargo management, and maritime regulations.
Experience in military/navy vessel agency coordination is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and shipping management software.
