Position Title: Shift SMP Maint. Technician

Department & Section: MM&W

Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Any preferred professional training

I.T.I. in Mechanical Fitter trade

Technical knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance of Steel Melting Plant

Knowledge and skill of Troubleshooting of Steel Melting Plant.

Understanding of engineering drawings

Basic computer skills

Professional Experience (Must haves)

3-5 years experience in Mechanical maintenance of Steel Plant as a Technician / Fitter

Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations

Knowledge of rigging and slinging

Knowledge of Gas Cutting

Key Performance Indicators

\xc2\xb7 Practice Health, Safety and Environment programs to attain Zero accidents.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the plant availability by performing PM, CM and breakdown activities within the stipulated time.

\xc2\xb7 Maximize spares utilization to maintain the OPEX expenditures within the limits set by the department.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that Co. established procedures, work instructions and standards are practiced during job performance.

\xc2\xb7 Provide solutions or ideas in solving underlying issues within the plant
