Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Diploma in Engineering

Any preferred professional training

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university

Technical knowledge of predictive & and preventive maintenance.

Understanding of engineering drawings

Knowledge of IT (MS - Office)

Professional Experience (Must haves)

2-3 Years in practical implementation of Mechanical Maintenance jobs as a Senior Technician in Steel Plant.

5-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience Steel Melting Plant (EAF, LRF, CCM, RMH & FTP) Mechanical Maintenance in Supervisory or equivalent category.

3 Years experience in a middle level Managerial Position.

Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations

Knowledge of SAP (Plant Maintenance & Material Management).

Knowledge of CBM / RCM / TPM.

knowledge of ISO 9000 / 14000

Key Performance Indicators

\xc2\xb7 Prepare & maintain long- or short-term Training Programs for the integration of new Emirati intakes as per department requirement.

\xc2\xb7 Manage Health, Safety and Environment for attaining Zero accidents by conducting TBTs & raising reports as per department plan.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the plant availability by maintaining the delays within the agreed parameters through proper planning & execution of PM, CM & Breakdown activities.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain the OPEX expenditures within the limits set by the department.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that Co. maintenance procedures & work instructions are drafted, maintained or updated as and when required after obtaining approval.

\xc2\xb7 Initiate Technical or Safety innovations to obtain better equipment performance or a safer working environment as per the department plan.
