What you\'ll be doing

Role Overview:

Chalhoub Group is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Innovation Business Development Trainee to join our dynamic team. This role is a 6 Month Trainee Program, designed for individuals who are passionate about streetwear, driving innovation and business growth in the luxury sector. As an Innovation Business Development Trainee, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with seasoned professionals, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies, market trends, and strategic business development initiatives.

Brand Development:

• Assist in cultivating and managing relationships with retail partners to expand distribution channels and increase brand presence in target markets
• Conduct in-depth market research within the streetwear industry to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and market opportunities
• Utilize market insights to inform brand development strategies and market expansion initiatives
• Assist in developing and implementing brand strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement
• Support the planning and execution of brand events and promotional campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative brand activations and experiential marketing initiatives
• Develop partnerships with key stakeholders, including influencers, industry organizations, and media outlets, to amplify brand reach and impact
• Implement customer feedback mechanisms and analyze consumer insights to continuously refine brand positioning and messaging
• Stay abreast of competitor activities and industry developments to identify competitive threats and opportunities for differentiation
• Drive product innovation and brand differentiation through collaboration with product development teams and strategic partnerships

Marketing:

• Assist in executing innovative marketing strategies, focusing on social media and influencer marketing initiatives to enhance SOL3MATES visibility and engagement
• Oversee and execute social media marketing efforts, including content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis, to drive brand awareness and foster brand loyalty among target audiences

Project Management:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing innovation projects from concept to completion
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful project delivery

Collaboration and Networking:

• Engage with industry experts, startups, and innovation ecosystems to stay abreast of the latest advancements
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities and partnerships
• Approach third-party providers to recruit them to the program and curate exclusive experiences

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on market insights, project progress, and potential business opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation of innovation initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability

Qualifications:

Passion for streetwear

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Innovation, Technology, or a related field

Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proactive mindset with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Adobe Suite
