Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated

Service Technician

with expertise in electrical, mechanical, and/or software systems to join our service team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, as well as providing technical support and training to clients. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment with electrical, mechanical, and/or software components. Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, manuals, and software documentation. Diagnose issues using testing devices, diagnostic tools, and software utilities. Collaborate with engineering and product teams for complex or escalated problems. Provide on-site or remote technical support to clients and end-users. Document service work, parts used, and resolution details accurately. Train customers and end-users on proper equipment use and maintenance. Maintain tools, parts inventory, and service records. Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of hands-on experience in field service or technical support. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and/or embedded software systems. Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or computer-controlled equipment is a plus. Ability to work with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and programming software. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to travel to customer sites and work independently.

Working Conditions:

Field-based work with travel required; valid driver's license may be necessary. May involve lifting, climbing, and working in various environments (factories, offices, outdoor sites). Standard hours with potential for after-hours or weekend service calls.
