If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, they estimate the additional cost and telephone the customer for permission to do the work. They also advise customers on other available services.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
Explain recommended services, repairs, and estimated costs.
Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the workshop team.
Keep customers informed of their vehicle's repair status and any changes.
Prepare and present service invoices, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Maintain detailed records of services and repairs in the system.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using service management software and Microsoft Office.
