Service Advisor
Locations: Dubai, Abu Dhabi
Industry: Automotive / Automotive Aftermarket
Reports To: Service Manager / Workshop Manager
Job Purpose:
To act as the primary liaison between customers and the service workshop. This role involves assessing vehicle service needs, providing estimates, managing customer communication, and ensuring high levels of service satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet service customers and perform a detailed check-in, documenting vehicle condition and customer concerns.
• Diagnose service needs, provide accurate repair estimates (time and cost), and obtain customer approval.
• Create and manage repair orders in the workshop management system.
• Communicate clearly with technicians and supervise the progress of repairs.
• Advise customers on additional required maintenance and up-sell appropriate services.
• Contact customers with updates, changes in estimates, and upon job completion.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers upon delivery.
• Handle customer complaints related to service and work to resolve them satisfactorily.
• Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturer warranties, service campaigns, and technical bulletins.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Automotive Technology, Business, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership or large workshop.
• Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems and repairs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with automotive DMS (Dealer Management Systems).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is highly beneficial.
