Greet customers professionally and listen to their vehicle concerns or service requests.
Inspect vehicles visually or with basic diagnostic tools to verify customer issues if required.
Advise customers on recommended maintenance and repair work.
Provide clear, detailed cost estimates, get approvals, and explain invoices.
Open and maintain accurate job cards and service records.
Coordinate with mechanics and workshop staff to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Keep customers updated on job status, delays, or additional repairs needed.
Handle customer complaints calmly and resolve them efficiently.
Upsell additional services or products when appropriate.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed within the service area.
Assist with parts ordering and coordination when necessary.
Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role.
Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in using service management software and MS Office.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Diploma or certification in automotive technology or a related field is an advantage.
Valid driving license may be required.
