Job Description

Job Summary
The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. They assess vehicle service needs, provide accurate estimates, explain repair procedures, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining efficient workflow in the service center.
Key Responsibilities: * Customer Interaction & Service Consultation:

  • Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns.
  • Inspect vehicles and identify necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Provide clear explanations of recommended services and costs.
  • Estimation & Documentation:
  • Prepare accurate service estimates and work orders.
  • Obtain customer approval before proceeding with repairs.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
  • Liaison Between Customers & Technicians:
  • Communicate repair updates and delays to customers.
  • Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
  • Verify completed work and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow-Up & Customer Satisfaction:
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Address complaints or concerns professionally and escalate if needed.
  • Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Administrative & Sales Duties:
  • Process payments and explain invoices.
  • Upsell additional services or maintenance plans when appropriate.
  • Maintain service logs, warranty claims, and inventory records.
