Job Description

10X Digital is seeking a proactive and technically skilled

SEO Technical Specialist

with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and executing SEO projects. This role requires a strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page and off-page implementation, and WordPress. You will work closely with the SEO Manager and internal teams to plan, execute, and optimize SEO strategies across multiple client projects. A good grasp of server-side hosting environments is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the SEO Manager to

plan and structure SEO strategies

for multiple client projects across different industries.

Implement on-page SEO fixes

and technical improvements, including meta tags, internal linking, schema markup, page speed optimization, and mobile usability.

Ensure SEO best practices

are consistently applied across all websites, from content creation to development deployment. Take full ownership of technical SEO audits and execute actionable fixes to improve crawlability, indexation, and organic visibility. Work directly on

WordPress websites

to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to themes, plugins, and server performance.

Plan and coordinate off-page SEO activities

(including link-building, citations, guest posts) with internal teams and external vendors. Monitor search engine rankings, traffic trends, and technical issues, and provide clear reports and insights to stakeholders.

Be accountable for the ranking performance

of client websites and actively track KPIs to ensure measurable growth. Manage SEO deliverables across

multiple projects simultaneously

, ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction are met.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in technical SEO across multiple projects. Solid experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc. Deep understanding of technical SEO concepts including crawling, indexing, structured data, and site architecture. Proficiency with

WordPress

, including knowledge of core files, plugins, and performance tuning. Familiarity with

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

in the context of SEO. Experience in

off-page SEO execution

and backlink strategy planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Good to Have

Experience with

server-side hosting environments

, CDN configuration, DNS management, and server logs. Knowledge of Apache/Nginx, .htaccess, and basic PHP is a plus. Familiarity with performance testing tools like Lighthouse, GTmetrix, or WebPageTest. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a digital agency.
