For one of our prestigious clients, a leader in the Oil and Gas industry, we are seeking a Senior/Lead Planner to be based in Abu Dhabi - UAE Job Purpose

The Senior/Lead Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient planning and scheduling of mechanical integrity services within an Abu Dhabi-based oil and gas sector company. The role involves overseeing and optimizing project timelines, resource allocation, and coordination to meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities A - PRINCIPAL RESPOSIBILITIES Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for mechanical integrity services. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints. Evaluate resource requirements and allocate them effectively to ensure timely project completion. Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing corrective actions. Implement best practices in planning and scheduling methodologies. Lead the development of short-term and long-term project schedules. B - PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES The principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following: Role Achieve operational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the valves department. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Provide leadership in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Mechanical Integrity operations. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the Mechanical Integrity department. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the team. Timely delivery of accurate and detailed project plans. Effective allocation and optimization of resources. Regular monitoring of project progress and proactive issue resolution. Adherence to industry standards and client requirements. Implementation of efficient planning and scheduling methodologies. Required Qualifications

Academic Qualifications

Professional Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the oil and gas sector, with a focus on mechanical integrity services. Proven experience in a senior planning role

Skills & Competencies

Proficient in project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Proficient in power BI would be advantageous In-depth knowledge of mechanical integrity services in the oil and gas industry. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies.
