We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Waiter to join our upscale dining establishment in the heart of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Senior Waiter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests while leading and mentoring our service team.

Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Lead and mentor junior wait staff, setting high standards for service excellence Take and process guest orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase revenue Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery Assist in training new team members on service procedures and standards Adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment


Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants Previous leadership experience as a head waiter or team lead Excellent customer service skills with a professional and supportive demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of food service, international cuisine, and dining etiquette Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems Extensive wine and beverage knowledge Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Basic math skills for handling financial transactions High school diploma or equivalent Food safety certification (preferred) Wine certification, such as Sommelier certification (preferred) Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards * Flexibility to work in different locations within Dubai, as needed
