To reach our ambitious goals, we are looking for Senior Quality Assurance Specialist. Responsibilities

Participation in testing different types of applications: backend, frontend, web, mobile Definition of most advantageous project-based methods and tools Setting up test strategy, test plans and testing process on the projects Execution of manual or automated testing in respective testing tools Performance, regression and stress testing plans definition and successful implementation Mentorship of the QA team so that all comply with testing standards Follow up on agreed team or project QA processes and procedures Participation in presales initiatives and project estimations for testing activities Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks among multiple or changing priorities Prefer to work on agile software development projects with globally distributed teams Qualifications

Knowledge of business-driven, risk-based, and exploratory test methodologies Experience in manual testing and related tools Hands on knowledge in automation testing (e.g., Selenium Web driver and Java) Hands on experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI Comfortable working with relational databases (e.g Oracle or MS SQL) Comfortable using version control systems, preferably Git Experience with different cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP) ISTQB certification is a plus Good communication skills (spoken and written) with fluent English as essential Good communication skills (spoken and written) with Arabic is a plus Have at least 5 years of relevant experience We like to say that Nortal is a right-sized company - big enough to undertake and impact influential projects yet small enough to care.
