About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled

Senior Test Engineer

with strong experience in

Quality Assurance (QA)

, specifically within the

insurance domain

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in testing applications related to

motor

and/or

medical insurance

lines of business (LOBs).


You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of insurance applications through comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing. Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Identify, document, and track bugs or issues to closure. Ensure that applications meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist end-users during the testing process. Continuously enhance testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills:

3-5 years of strong experience in QA/Test Engineering. Solid understanding and practical experience in

motor

and/or

medical insurance

applications testing. Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Bugzilla). Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have:

Experience in automation testing tools will be an added advantage. ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred. * Familiarity with database querying for backend testing.
