Position Overview

The Senior Technical Manager is a

specialist and authority in crushing and screening equipment

with deep knowledge of

electrical, mechanical, and engine systems

. This role is responsible for

diagnosing faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, leading the technical team, and coordinating across workshop and store functions

.

Beyond troubleshooting, this position plays a

strategic role in planning installations, decommissioning, and demobilization of crushers and screens

. The individual will also

identify issues before they arise, close gaps in operations, and ensure maximum uptime and reliability of equipment

, reporting directly to the Top management.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Expertise & Troubleshooting

Diagnose and troubleshoot

electrical, mechanical, and engine issues

in crushers, screens, and heavy equipment. Carry out inspections and proactively identify faults before they lead to downtime. Analyze root causes of equipment failure and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Allocate tasks and supervise the

technical team

(mechanics, electricians, operators) to ensure timely repairs. Coordinate with the

workshop team

for repairs and the

stores team

for spare parts and consumables. Ensure the right manpower, tools, and parts are allocated efficiently for each job.

Planning & Execution

Plan and oversee

installation, commissioning, decommissioning, and demobilization

of crushers and screens. Ensure all rental equipment is fully inspected, repaired, and ready before deployment to projects. Participate in

project planning

, ensuring technical readiness and risk management. Identify

gaps or potential issues early

and take preventive action.

Reporting & Accountability

Provide

direct, fact-based reports to the top management

, including: Faults identified and actions taken Technical risks and preventive measures Project readiness status Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and downtime analysis. Ensure full transparency by flagging any fabrication or misreporting of technical data.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all works follow

UAE HSE standards and company safety procedures

. Verify that crushers and screens meet operational and safety requirements before being released for rental or project use.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in

Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering

.

10+ years' experience

in crushers, screens, and heavy equipment (minimum 5 years in a senior/lead role). Expertise in: Electrical systems (wiring harnesses, alternators, starters, motors, control panels) Mechanical systems (diesel engines, hydraulics, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors) Steel structures (crusher frames, conveyors, screen decks, fabrication). Strong background in

technical troubleshooting and project planning

. Hands-on experience in

installation and demobilization

of crushers and heavy equipment. Proven ability to

manage teams, coordinate resources, and report directly to senior leadership

.

Pay: From AED10,000.00 per month
