Senior Planning Engineer - Infrastructure Projects (RTA Experience Required) with leading International Contractor in Dubai, UAE Job ID - 4226

A leading international company specializing in the construction of prestigious structures that include commercial developments, infrastructure and large-scale projects.

Industry: Roads, Utilities, Bridges, Infrastructure Construction Availability: Candidates currently based in the UAE are strongly preferred.

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Planning Engineer for a leading international contractor involved in high-profile infrastructure projects across Dubai. This is a key role requiring deep expertise in project planning, scheduling, and reporting -- with a strong focus on RTA projects involving roads, utilities (wet & dry), and bridge construction.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum 12 years of experience in project planning, with a strong track record in infrastructure projects Extensive experience in RTA projects -- including standards, procedures, and reporting formats UAE experience in utility diversion, protection works, and infrastructure planning is essential
Technical Skills

Proficient in Primavera P6 Strong understanding of construction planning methodologies Hands-on experience with scheduling tools, authority standards, and project control systems Proven ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and bridges Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 Prepare and submit progress reports, lookahead plans, and recovery programs Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to gather accurate planning data Lead planning and progress meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and recommend mitigation strategies Support the Project Manager with planning insights and perform additional duties as required
