About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing structural engineering projects on-site, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our construction projects.

Lead and manage structural engineering aspects of complex construction projects from design to completion Conduct on-site structural inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codes Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings for various building types and infrastructure projects Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve technical issues and optimise project outcomes Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards Prepare and present technical reports, structural analyses, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and local building regulations Implement and maintain safety protocols on construction sites Participate in business development activities and client meetings as needed

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred) Professional Engineering (PE) licence or equivalent Relevant structural engineering certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer) Minimum 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on on-site roles Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software In-depth understanding of building codes and standards (e.g., Eurocode, ACI, AISC) Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly Proven experience in construction supervision and on-site problem-solving Familiarity with local building regulations and standards in the UAE, particularly in Ras Al-Khaimah Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and geotechnical engineering principles Understanding of sustainable design principles and green building practices Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to quality and safety Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Willingness to travel to various construction sites as required
