Description:
Stantec is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team and support on a Construction Site and Supervision project in Abu Dhabi.
Key Tasks and Duties:

• Monitoring the structural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.

• Reviewing, approving and processing all structural technical submittals.

• Answering RFIs related to Structure and Architecture.

• Assist in supervising the work of all structural activities and operations, maintaining progress records and reporting.

• Reviewing contractor's structural change order proposals and preparing recommendations to Structural PM.

• Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.

• Reviewing contractor's claims related to structural works and preparing recommendations for claims.

• Reviewing the contractor's project record documents relevant to their discipline.

• Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the structural works.

• Signing off on completed structural works with completed documentation and maintaining the required record.

• Perform all other duties given by Senior Structural Engineer

Qualifications:

• Minimum Ten (10) years' experience in Structural engineering with reputable international consultants and or with five (5) years in the Middle East.

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

• Understanding of engineering principles, structural analysis, design concepts, and other Structural and building process.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent HSE knowledge and awareness.

• Excellent local Authority knowledge and experience.

• Excellent command of Microsoft Office business solutions (Excel, Word, Project), Structural
