Your role

We are looking to hire an innovative Senior Software Engineer with experience in the entire software development lifecycle. We develop exciting and complex software applications for engineering products from real-time control systems and signal processing to machine learning, databases, and user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

Work with a team of engineers to design, implement, unit test, document, and maintain software in multiple programming languages.

Flexibility and willingness to work in the entire development stack including frontends, middleware, backends, microservices, distributed, native, mobile, and embedded applications.

Keep up with new technologies, expand your skill set, continuously learn.

Mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Awareness of concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

Experience and Skills:

Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematical disciplines.

Min 8 to 11 years of relevant experience

Expert in several functional and object-orientated programming languages

Strong applied mathematical knowledge in a scientific or engineering field is beneficial

Experience working on Linux based infrastructure

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

This position requires that you undergo a security screening in accordance with the Saab internal processes.
