Next Engineering Consultants is looking for a qualified and experienced

Senior Site Electrical Engineer

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have

10+ years of site experience in the UAE

and will be responsible for supervising, executing, and ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of electrical systems on-site, in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise on-site electrical works to ensure proper installation and compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Review and interpret electrical drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and the project team to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress. Conduct inspections to verify that installations meet quality and regulatory standards. Ensure that electrical site activities comply with all relevant codes, standards, and customer requirements. Prepare site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation. Estimate and monitor material quantities and labor requirements on-site. Monitor and maintain electrical equipment installed on-site. Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and site teams. Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Report any delays, safety concerns, or deviations from the approved plans to the project manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 10+ years of site experience in the UAE. Solid knowledge of local regulations, DEWA standards, and safety practices. Strong site supervision skills and the ability to manage subcontractors and technicians. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and using site management tools. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
