Job Title Senior Service Owner- International Payment Services

Description

Leads one or more Service Delivery teams within a Service (depending on technical complexity of applications and stakeholders being managed)Manages end 2 end service roadmap & implementation for the Service Teams in their remitManage business stakeholders and IT teams in multiple geographies.Works closely with other Service Owners to delivery initiatives impacting multiple teams and applicationsSpecific Accountability Define vision & value proposition along with BusinessBuilds trust & relationship with BusinessService Strategy Input, shaping & maintaining the service catalogue.Oversight on Demand Management & Release MilestonesFinancial, Compliance and Risk Management compliedSetting the right KPIs and OKRs for Service Teams and tracking progressManaging and coordinating cross-services deliveriesShaping the right Agile Culture, Mindset and MaturityJointly defines the Technology strategic roadmap which lead to Service Teams backlogWorks closely with the Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver the target business valueEmpowers, supports and guides the Service Teams to work effectivelyIs aware of initiatives in other Domains and ensure alignment / overlapProvides guidance and extensive support for Service Delivery activation and gradual Agile transformationAccountable for delivery of feature / release for the Service within scope and timelineSupports Service Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters in delivery of FeatureShould be aware of project risks / issues and responsible to support the team in avoiding any impact on the program deliveryEnsures the engineering team has recovery plan / back-up plan for mitigating any risk/ issuesEnsure risks / technology vulnerabilities identified during program execution are managed as per IT risk management process and work closely with the team for fixing / mitigating the risk by including in backlog Qualifications15+ Years of Experience in SDLC or Service Management and at least 6 years of extensive specialization in a payments area and at least 4 years of extensive specialization in a payments area.Strong Functional and technical knowledge of critical systems and banking servicesExperience in leading multiple payments driven Programs/Projects.Strong Knowledge in Payments domain, international payments domain and schemes.Experience in implementation strategies uncoiling complex, multi-system integration.Experience in implementing Payment Hub solutions.Experience in Enterprise Program & Project management, Application support & Lifecycle management, Service Operations, Technology & Business process transformation, Business relationship management, Client & Vendor management and Change management.Manages and maintains the overall progress of service delivery for their team / teamsOversee all aspects of quality assurance (technical and non-technical requirements) including establishing metrics, applying FAB established standardsCreative thinker and problem solver, able to distill complex problems down to actionable itemsDeep and broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies that affect the businessExpert in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting major portions of a production stackSufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex technical risks and issues.Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approachTOGAF, SOA, PMP, Cloud, Agile or Domain specific certifications would be added advantage.Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss, and explain issues coherently and logically, in writing and verbally.
