Build the business through sales and marketing of existing and new products to existing and new customers
Build a healthy portfolio, rely on sustainable continuous local and international line of products, and build on that while maintaining a healthy customer base and avoid bad debt
Re-align product offering to market demand (premium for premium customers, lower grade for middle tier customers), re-structure the product loading and offering by sourcing mixed containers
Develop and build relationships with current and new customers
Increase local line of products, but not only, that provide continuity in supply and promotional support
Negotiate and align further customers where cross-sales is present, rice, dairy, poultry, fresh produce
The Successful Applicant
8 - 10 years of previous experience working within or provide services to the Fresh Produce and distribution Industry is a must
Sales experience as well as previous procurement experience would be ideal Experience of heading up and managing a team of sales staff
Experience of the wholesale/food service business, food manufacturing and food hygiene
Knowledge of key contacts and players in the fresh produce industry
