Job Description

Our Client - A leading firm in the Shipping Industry based in Dubai is looking for a Sales Executive to drive export sales initiatives and be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals to expand the business. Position: Sales Executive (Exports). Package: (8 - 10k - plus variable) Location: Dubai. Experience: 5+ years experience in Logistics, shipping & transport industry in Dubai - UAE. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting and Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the markets for the services.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through market research and networking.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Sales Presentations and Negotiation:
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients, highlighting our services and unique selling points.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion and product/service enhancement.
Export Compliance and Documentation:
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure all export transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Quotation Preparation:
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients, considering all relevant costs and pricing strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Reporting:
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, market analysis, and client feedback for management review.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Masters degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Skills:
  • Proven experience in export sales within the logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of international trade practices, export regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (CRM, MS Office).
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required.
