We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Sales Executive with 3-5 years of proven experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry. The ideal candidate will have an established customer base (local or international), strong industry connections, and the ability to generate new business opportunities while maintaining excellent client relationships. This is a mid-level role requiring both business development and account management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding and shipping across both local and international markets.
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
Leverage existing
customer portfolio and industry contacts
to generate consistent revenue growth.
Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and pricing solutions in line with company policies.
Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and terms with clients and vendors to maximize profitability.
Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
Conduct regular market research to stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs.
Achieve assigned sales targets and demonstrate the capacity to consistently meet and exceed revenue goals.
Provide timely sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
Minimum
3-5 years of sales experience
in
freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics
.
Strong network of industry contacts and a solid customer base (regional or international).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to be
target-driven, self-motivated, and result-oriented
.
Demonstrated track record of
meeting or exceeding sales targets
.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
