Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer - Power & Solar Sector

Job Purpose:
To drive sales and business growth in the Power and Solar sector by identifying opportunities, proposing technical solutions, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of solar energy systems, power infrastructure, and EPC project cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets in the Power and Solar markets (rooftop, ground-mounted, hybrid, etc.).
Identify and qualify new business opportunities with EPCs, consultants, government bodies, and private sector clients.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
Conduct detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients.
Work closely with the engineering and project teams to ensure seamless project handover and execution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, products, and pricing.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to build strong market presence and relationships.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing structures, and delivery timelines in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Track project progress, follow up on outstanding proposals, and provide timely feedback to management.
Ensure CRM tools and sales reports are regularly updated for pipeline visibility.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred).
5-8 years of proven experience in technical sales within the Power or Solar PV sector.
Deep understanding of solar PV systems (on-grid/off-grid), inverters, batteries, and hybrid systems.
Familiarity with local/regional regulations, tendering procedures, and utility connection processes.
Experience working with EPC contractors and utility-scale or C&I solar projects is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong technical background with a commercial mindset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-driven with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and basic PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) is a plus.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
