Job Description
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement safety programs:
Create and enforce company-wide health and safety policies and procedures.Conduct risk assessments and inspections:
Regularly survey the workplace to identify hazards, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.Investigate incidents:
Look into accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.Provide training:
Deliver safety inductions and training for new and existing employees to promote a safe work environment.Maintain records:
Keep accurate records of safety-related incidents, activities, and training.Ensure equipment is ready:
Make sure all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE), is available and correctly used.Stay current on regulations:
Keep up-to-date with changes in safety laws, regulations, and best practices.Promote a safety culture:
Work with management and staff to foster a strong, proactive safety culture throughout the organization.Emergency preparedness:
Coordinate and participate in emergency response drills and activities.Job Type: Full-time
