Senior Safety Officer

Job Description
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. This role involves implementing health and safety policies, monitoring compliance, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and providing safety training.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain company health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Organize and deliver safety training sessions for employees.
Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation accurately.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive risk management.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations. Excellent communication and training skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to enforce compliance. Computer literacy for report generation and record-keeping.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (preferred).NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate)

- must haveFire Safety Training / Fire Warden Certificate
- must haveRisk Assessment & Incident Investigation courses
- preferred Previous experience as a Safety Officer or in HSE roles is a plusJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
