Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Road / Transportation Engineer

to lead and manage complex road and transportation infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, planning, and project management, with proven leadership skills and expertise in international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

Lead the design and development of major road and transportation projects. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Design & Technical Expertise:

Prepare and review detailed designs for highways, urban roads, and transportation systems using advanced engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road). Conduct traffic analysis, feasibility studies, and safety audits.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure all designs comply with local and international standards (AASHTO, ASTM, BS, etc.). Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for approvals.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities. Provide technical guidance during project execution and resolve complex issues.

Project Management:

Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for multiple projects. Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery within quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (Master's preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in road and transportation projects. Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, etc.). In-depth knowledge of traffic engineering principles and road safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
