What You'll Do

• Lead the technical delivery of bridge, underpass, and transportation structure designs across multiple projects
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure high-quality, technically sound outputs before submission
• Identify opportunities for innovative solutions and value engineering
• Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and approving authorities to manage schedules, approvals, and design interfaces
• Present design concepts and technical matters to clients and stakeholders when required
• Provide direction to junior and mid-level engineers, ensuring clarity of expectations and priorities
• Report on design progress, resourcing needs, and delivery milestones to the design manager or team leader

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience in structural design, particularly for bridges and transportation infrastructure
• Proven ability to guide, mentor, and lead junior engineers in technical delivery
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral
• Dedication to technical excellence, quality design delivery, and innovation

Desired Skills

• Professional qualification/certification (PE, CEng, or equivalent)
• Prior experience in UAE or GCC on bridge and infrastructure design projects
• Experience with a variety of bridge types and cut-and-cover tunnels
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 BIM standards and common data environment design workflows
